Summary:
In the Unification Church, the concept of “our portion of responsibility” is deeply significant because human beings have not yet fulfilled it, causing the entire world, history, and all past, present, and future generations to be trapped in a realm of bitter misfortune under evil sovereignty. The realm of Satan began precisely because Adam and Eve failed to fulfill their responsibility through self-centered love, making them a fallen root that passed this failure down as another parent to all human descendants. Because humanity fell below the line of responsibility, God has had to endure a long, painful path of suffering while waiting for us to bridge the gap and raise ourselves back up. Ultimately, good sovereignty exists above the fulfillment of human responsibility, meaning humankind must exert every effort to overcome Satan’s domain and restore what was lost.
In the Unification Church, the words “our portion of responsibility” are truly great. All of you are in the position of not yet having fulfilled that, aren’t you? The place where the human ancestors could not fulfill their portion of responsibility became the realm of Satan’s dominion. Thus, the sphere of evil sovereignty started with that failure. This is logical. The evil sovereignty begins below the line of fulfillment of the portion of responsibility while the good sovereignty begins above it. What initiated the evil sovereignty?
