Human Beings Would Be Like God

Human beings stand in the position where they reach the status of having achieved 100 percent perfection jointly with God.

    When human beings reach perfection, God’s internal nature enters the mind of man, and God’s external form enters the mind of woman. The substantial marriage ceremony for Adam and Eve becomes God’s marriage ceremony. You will know this clearly when you go to the spirit world. This incomprehensible theory is correct. So, where is God? Where can He be found in relation to the couple? He is in the womb. This is where God is found. This is where the root of love is. I have revealed, for the first time in history, the systematic arrangement of the spirit world and its composition. If you think about a royal palace of love, there is a royal palace in the spirit world and a royal palace on the earth. Where do these palaces make contact? That is the question. In other words, where do human beings and God meet? The sexual organs that bring the unity of true love are the original land. Since this is the original land, in terms of palaces, it becomes the original palace. This is the palace that God initiates, and it is the first thing He initiates. It is the original palace.     Global civilizations have been born on peninsulas. The most representative of those places is Rome. The features of the Mediterranean Sea look just like a conjugal relationship between a man and a woman. That is why today, even after two thousand years, Rome still has a position as a central world power. The Roman code of law in particular is wide- ly used. This explains how the saying “Civilization comes from Rome” came about. World unification should have begun from Rome, but Rome was unable to fulfill that mission. (229-69, 1992.4.9)

Summary
When human beings fulfill their five percent portion of responsibility, they join with God’s ninety-five percent contribution to reach total perfection, completing God’s creation and allowing human beings to stand on an equal footing with God as His living embodiments of true love. Had Adam and Eve not fallen, this process would have occurred naturally and easily through adolescence, enabling God to live inside Adam’s heart as one body and connecting the realms of direct and indirect dominion without any separation. However, because the first ancestors failed, false love created a deep realm of death and expanded Satan’s control, making human responsibility much more difficult. Ultimately, true love is the central core needed to inherit God’s creation, and by manifesting absolute, eternal love to complete your responsibility, you completely remove any grounds for Satan to accuse you, forcing evil to retreat and securing your entry into the Kingdom of Heaven.

God Could Not Do as He Wished

Had God been able to do as He wished, all of this would have been resolved in an instant long ago.

    How happy God, True Parents, and Blessed Families will be with the proclamation of the Family Pledge! “Seek our original homeland!” This earth is the original homeland. It means completing the Kingdom of God on earth and in heaven, the original ideal of creation, in our original homeland. Through what? Through love. Summary:
Although God is all-powerful, He was unable to establish the Kingdom of Heaven on earth because human beings fell and left their five percent portion of responsibility unfulfilled. Adam and Eve failed during the necessary process of their growth by making a mistake in the realm of love, proving that no goal can be reached unless an individual successfully completes their portion of responsibility by becoming one with God and the Principle. Because we are descendants of the Fall, humanity faces the painful destiny of needing to change its lineage through a path of indemnity, requiring each person to exert their utmost effort to become true children of God. Even True Father had to pioneer his extremely treacherous path without God directly guiding or protecting him, as God could only watch and wait until a perfected human being fulfilled their responsibility to receive His ultimate love.

    During sermon time, a boundary is created that decides who enters heaven and hell. If someone comes to our church thinking, “I’ve always wondered about the Unification Church, let’s see how it is!” but then is disappointed with the sermon, saying, “What kind of sermon is that?” it is the same as cutting that person’s throat. Giving sermons should be a serious occasion, even more so than when a judge passes sentence in court. (96-169, 1978.1.3)

    What would life have been like if woman had not been created to stand before man in the Garden of Eden? It is a universal truth that women exist. It is a miracle of miracles that both men and women exist. If one existed without the other, it would be the same as having no existence at all. That would be the end of humanity.     Once you meet your spouse, that relationship will last forever. You must be thankful for the original love between husband and wife, which you cannot buy even if you offered the universe or God Himself. You must also be strong and bold. Those who have tasted the true love of the Unification Church will be followed by the light of love wherever they go. Summary:
The difficult concept of “restoration through indemnity” (making up for past wrongs) only exists because human beings failed to fulfill their original portion of responsibility. Because the principle of human responsibility is absolute, neither God nor church headquarters can help you overcome your spiritual trials; you must defeat Satan and complete this course entirely on your own. If outside help were allowed, it would violate the Principle, which is the exact reason God could not step in to stop the Fall of Adam and Eve. Originally, Adam and Eve could have avoided the Fall simply by choosing to ask God for advice, but instead, they acted independently and formed a wrong horizontal relationship. Ultimately, while this five percent portion of responsibility gives human beings the immense privilege and equal value of participating in their own creation, no one in history successfully fulfilled it until True Father uncovered this hidden heavenly law.

Summary:
God gave human beings their portion of responsibility to share His highest authority and creative power, allowing them to participate in the work of creation and rise to a position that truly represents God Himself. This responsibility was not created because of the Fall; even in a perfect world, God completes ninety-five percent of the ideal of creation, and human beings must fulfill their own five percent portion to achieve perfection and earn the key to dominate the universe with love. Because this principle is absolute and carries no exceptions, God cannot simply fix everything as He pleases, which is why He has also had to walk a long path of intense hardship to help restore humanity. Ultimately, this five percent responsibility is a grand privilege that gives human beings the value of becoming God’s true partners, meaning that both God and humanity must bear the weight of responsibility together under any circumstances.

The one who can fulfill a greater portion of responsibility is a great person. The founder of the Unification Church created many programs to help you fulfill your portion of responsibility. In a company, for instance, you have to lay down principles and rules for the sake of the whole enterprise and everyone must follow those rules. There can be no objections. You will be fired if you step outside those boundaries. What happened to Adam and Eve who tried to go some other way? They were driven out. (133-154, 1984.7.10)

    From where can the Kingdom of Heaven begin? Without dissolving God’s anguish, we cannot enter heaven. Since we have woven a history of sorrow since the Fall, we must restore all its ties. All the ties of the six millennia since Adam and Eve have to be restored. The Unification Church Principle teaches about a God of such sorrow.
    Secular people detest sorrow and run away from it. The Unification Church Principle teaches about God’s sorrow, which is more miserable than any other sorrowful situation. If something sorrowful happened in the world, most people would avoid it and run away from it, but the motto of the Unification Church Principle is to go through such places of sorrow.
    All people in the world try to avoid sorrow, but they are originally not supposed to be like that. The more we understand God’s sorrow and the contents of His misery, the stronger the force that actually emerges in the Unification Church to dissolve His anguish. That force becomes the motive of unlimited explosive action. This is the great force of the Unification Church.
