The Victorious Course of Rev. Sun Myung Moon

Cheon Seong Gyeong 2179

People of filial piety will think of
their parents first when something good
happens in their lives. In the fallen world
people think of their spouse first when
they see something good. However,
unless you buy something precious for
your parents first, you cannot buy some-
thing for your spouse.

Cheon Seong Gyeong 1566

These eight months of January
through August have all been part of
a new era in 1989. It is now the end
of August isn’t it? The course of glob-
al indemnity has been completed in
these eight months. In connection with
this we were able to hold many events
last year, including the cross-cultural
“exchange” Holy Blessing and the dec-
laration of the Foundation Day for the
Nation of the Unified World. Thus, all
conditions of indemnity were fulfilled.
In this way, everything was brought to
completion in August. This includes
the marine and water related activities.
I have accomplished so much up to this
point. (193-100, 1989.8.31)

The Ceremony of the Settlement of
the Eight Stages signifies the restoration
of the right of the eldest son. It was held
after both the vertical historical course
and the horizontal course of indemni-
ty on the levels of the individual, fam-
ily, people, nation and world – in short,
the vertical and horizontal courses of
indemnity in the eight stages – had
been completed. It signifies the comple-
tion of the course of indemnity for all
people of the world. All this comes to
fruition through the Ceremony of the
Settlement of the Eight Stages.
We have entered an era when we
can come together in harmony through
love with no need for indemnification
because, after the restoration of the
right of the eldest son, it is embraced
in the bosom of the parents. War and
struggle to restore the right of the
eldest son are no longer necessary in
the realm of parental love. In order to
initiate this, the Ceremony of the Settle-
ment of the Eight Stages must be per-
formed. Through this ceremony, the
children in the positions of the first and
second sons can be forgiven by those in
the position of the parents, and we can
enter the next era of forgiveness of par-
ents. (193-173, 1989.10.3)

Richard:  Rev. Sun Myung Moon has already set the foundation for us so we can progress towards God’s Ideal without the need for war and struggle.

Matthew 23: 1-39

We say we love God. God has loved humanity for six thousand years. The greatest sadness is that which is felt by a loving heart; the greatest pain is that which is felt by a loving heart. The greatest happiness is that which is felt by a loving heart.

We say that Heavenly Father is love, but has He ever felt happiness? No. We have to understand that in dealing with fallen humanity and in loving humankind, Heavenly Father has never seen a day of happiness. We thought that God was the God of love and that He was always enraptured in joy, happiness and peace, but that is not so. Humanity today has to realize this. No one on earth understands that the greater God’s desire to save humankind, the greater the pain in His heart, since He possesses a heart of love. No one understands the pain of Heaven deep within that heart of love.

Humankind knows that God is love and that He is the subject of love. Humankind does not know the heart behind the bloody history which God has suffered for humankind. Continue reading “The Victorious Course of Rev. Sun Myung Moon”

Jesus Went Through a Course of Sadness and Suffering

Judges 17

“Where are you from?” Micah asked.

“I am a Levite from Bethlehem in Judah,” the man answered, “and I’m on my way to find a new place to live.”

10 Micah said, “Why don’t you stay here with me? You can be my priest and tell me what God wants me to do. Every year I’ll give you ten pieces of silver and one complete set of clothes, and I’ll provide all your food.”

The young man went for a walk, 11-12 then he agreed to stay with Micah and be his priest. He lived in Micah’s house, and Micah treated him like one of his own sons. 13 Micah said, “I have a Levite as my own priest. Now I know that the Lord will be kind to me.”

Isaiah 49

49 Everyone, listen,
even you foreign nations
    across the sea.
The Lord chose me
and gave me a name
    before I was born.
He made my words pierce
like a sharp sword
    or a pointed arrow;
he kept me safely hidden
in the palm of his hand.
The Lord said to me,
    “Israel, you are my servant;
and because of you
    I will be highly honored.”

I said to myself,
“I’m completely worn out;
    my time has been wasted.
But I did it for the Lord God,
    and he will reward me.”

Even before I was born,
    the Lord God chose me
to serve him and to lead back
    the people of Israel.
So the Lord has honored me
    and made me strong.

Matthew 23: 1-39

hat is why, after four thousand years of history since the fall of humankind, God established the chosen people and promised them, “I will send you a leader, a master, the prince of peace and freedom, the person who will become the prince of happiness.” Thus, Heavenly Father sent the long-awaited and promised individual who was to become the center of God’s happiness, the center of peace and freedom, someone who could resolve God’s sorrow and reintroduce the blessings of Heaven to humankind.

In spite of the advent of that individual, promised throughout the long course of history, the history of sorrow has continually repeated itself until now because the chosen people of Israel could not attend him, could not welcome him and live according to his will. They could not unite with him to establish the will of God and liberate the han of Heavenly Father.

Jesus Christ came as the prince of peace, the prince of happiness and freedom, the one who was to take responsibility for the sorrowful heart of the four thousand years of history after the fall. Jesus, who bore the responsibility of four thousand years of human history and God’s providence, came bearing the historical han and that of Heaven.

What course did Jesus have to go through to resolve such han? He had to go through a course of sadness and suffering. Only then would this han be resolved and the moment of joy come. You should never forget that, more than any other individual, Jesus had to experience the greatest of sorrowful and painful han that had taken place in the four thousand years of prior history. Side by Side With God, We Are to Liquidate this World of Han

Cheon Seong Gyeong 1742

Why marry? We marry to resemble
God. He has dual characteristics and
is a unified being in which both char-
acteristics are harmonized. Man and
woman were created to resemble each
of His dual characteristics. Thus, man
and woman should come together in
complete unity and harmony, become
like the seed, and return to the posi-
tion of God’s original character. For us
to connect to that seed we need to go
the way of love, and so we need to be
born out of love. We need to be raised
with love as our goal, live centering on
love, and walk the path that will lead us
back to God’s love in heaven. You must
understand that if you do not follow
the path focused on that goal while liv-
ing on earth, you will be headed in the
wrong direction. If you keep your mind
focused on leading a life of loving others
you will be on the right path, no matter
which way you go, as if you were trying
to find your way to the South Pole or the
North Pole. (138-97, 1986.1.19)

Cheon Seong Gyeong 1027

When you eat rice in the morning,
you eat new rice, right? There must be
some fresh flavor. In the same way, you
must give new things. From a spiritual
aspect, you should supply something
new, like a health supplement, and add
flavor to it. You would have to add sea-
soning to give it a new taste, a sour taste,
a salty taste, or even a bitter taste. (75-176,
1975.1.2)

Matthew 23: 1-39

If you were able to liquidate all of history’s han and the many hidden tales of Heaven, how would you approach this question? With what determination, in what form, and with what attitude? If Heavenly Father relates to humankind and cannot yet resolve the deep han that dwells in His heart in spite of His historic pleas and efforts, and that has been the reality, then who will appease His sorrowful heart? We have to realize that the cause of the existence of such a han originated not from Heavenly Father but from humankind.

The history of han will repeat itself over and over again. It will continue to be separated, age after age, from God’s dispensation, if humankind fails to understand their role as the ones responsible to resolve His han and fails to fulfill that mission.

As long as God exists, He will continue to search for the one who will stop the flow of sorrowful history and liquidate the han of Heavenly Father and humanity. God has fought until now to find and establish such an individual. It is certain that He has dominated history so that such an individual will be able to attend Heaven. A True Individual Has Come to Liberate Heavenly Father’s Sorrow

Luke 11

37 When Jesus finished speaking, a Pharisee invited him home for a meal. Jesus went and sat down to eat.[e] 38 The Pharisee was surprised that he did not wash his hands[f] before eating. 39 So the Lord said to him:

You Pharisees clean the outside of cups and dishes, but on the inside you are greedy and evil. 40 You fools! Didn’t God make both the outside and the inside?[g] 41 If you would only give what you have to the poor, everything you do would please God.

42 You Pharisees are in for trouble! You give God a tenth of the spices from your gardens, such as mint and rue. But you cheat people, and you don’t love God. You should be fair and kind to others and still give a tenth to God.

43 You Pharisees are in for trouble! You love the front seats in the meeting places, and you like to be greeted with honor in the market. 44 But you are in for trouble! You are like unmarked graves[h] that people walk on without even knowing it.

45 A teacher of the Law of Moses spoke up, “Teacher, you said cruel things about us.”

46 Jesus replied:

You teachers are also in for trouble! You load people down with heavy burdens, but you won’t lift a finger to help them carry the loads. 47 Yes, you are really in for trouble. You build monuments to honor the prophets your own people murdered long ago. 48 You must think that was the right thing for your people to do, or else you would not have built monuments for the prophets they murdered.

49 Because of your evil deeds, the Wisdom of God said, “I will send prophets and apostles to you. But you will murder some and mistreat others.” 50 You people living today will be punished for all the prophets who have been murdered since the beginning of the world. 51 This includes every prophet from the time of Abel to the time of Zechariah,[i] who was murdered between the altar and the temple. You people will certainly be punished for all of this.

52 You teachers of the Law of Moses are really in for trouble! You carry the keys to the door of knowledge about God. But you never go in, and you keep others from going in.

53 Jesus was about to leave, but the teachers and the Pharisees wanted to get even with him. They tried to make him say what he thought about other things, 54 so that they could catch him saying something wrong.

Richard:  Wow, this is the first time that I got the exact reading from the speech of Rev. Moon that we are studying.  God and Father in heaven are emphasizing that they are very unhappy with the current situation of “leaders” in the Unification Movement.  Especially, the Rod of Iron ministry is grieving Father, because it is not at all what he has taught in his word.  Yet, people at the Sanctuary Church are thinking that Pastor Hyung Jin is uplifting Father’s teaching, which is obviously not true:  https://youtu.be/s9zmyZbEDhE.

Ecclesiastes 11

11 Be generous, and someday
    you will be rewarded.[a]
Share what you have
    with seven or eight others,
because you never know
    when disaster may strike.
Rain clouds always bring rain;
trees always stay
    wherever they fall.
If you worry about the weather
and don’t plant seeds,
    you won’t harvest a crop.

Matthew 23: 1-39

The passages read were the words of a final curse that flowed out of Jesus’ sorrowful heart. He soon was to pass away on the path he had chosen, yet he was unable to establish the will in front of the Israelites, of whom he had so many expectations, dreams and hopes.

Centering on these words, I will speak to you on the topic of “The Person Who Will Serve the Grieving Father.”

People today are longing for a happy life. They also long for a world of freedom in their hearts. Yet the reality is such that what is expected and longed for in the heart is in discord with the actual aspects of our lives.

Because we cannot possess something in our hearts that will allow us to take dominion over and rid ourselves of the things that are in discord, even for a day, we cannot go where our hearts long for in spite of our desire to do so. We also feel and have felt in our lives our inability to carry out the things for which our hearts long.

Amid this reality, we see that we do not have any ideology with which to overcome ourselves, nor any means to take control over our environment. While we embrace hope and sing aloud in our lives, we always feel sorrow within our hearts. Today and yesterday, every day, we lead a life of such sorrow. Please Convey What You Want to Convey

How many times a day do you think
about your portion of responsibility?
You have to remember this many times:
when you eat, when you hold a spoon,
when you wash the dishes, while you go
to the toilet, while you walk…. Adam
and Eve did not think about their por-
tion of responsibility and consequent-
ly came to ruin. We must not become
people who, like Adam and Eve, can-
not fulfill our responsibility and fall. To
become someone who can be restored
and be victorious we have to respect and
consider our portion of responsibility
twenty-four hours a day. (124-103, 1983.1.30)

Richard:  I got a blank page and Stacey got the Rhema above. Together, God is emphasizing our own portion of responsibility.  We need to know what is true, based on God’s word, the Eight Great Textbooks (http://visionroot.org/resources/the-eight-books-of-holy-scripture/), and pursue it centering on our conscience at high noon, where no shadow is cast.

Matthew 23: 1-39

Prayer

In this time, there is nothing that I want to convey. Please convey what You want to convey. Please take dominion over this gathering, as I only want to see things within Your will come to pass.

Please help our minds and bodies not to be subjugated by any other thought, even for this one hour only. Please allow this to be a time when we agree with the things with which the Father agrees, decide on the things on which the Father decides, and harmonize with the things with which the Father harmonizes. Father, please be the cause, and let us be the result. I sincerely pray, Father, that You shape our minds and bodies so that we may move as You move.

Please bless this day. I earnestly pray that You will protect with Your arms of blessing all those lonely members far away who are praying together at this time.

Father, we realize that the passage of the Bible we have read was about the final words of a curse that flowed out of Jesus’ desperate heart as he found himself unable to do anything even, after making every effort. If such words ever come to our ears in these last days, allow us to open our hearts’ doors, bow, and receive them with bowed heads. Father, I sincerely pray that there will be many sons and daughters who will open their ears with the desire to listen and open their eyes with the desire to see.

Please have dominion over those gathered here. Embrace them in Your loving bosom, and advise them with new words. I sincerely pray that this will be a time when we may be embraced in Your bosom.

Let there be no distance between the heart of the one trying to convey the message and the hearts of those who are receiving it. Please let the heart of the one trying to convey move the hearts of those receiving. Let the hearts of those receiving sensitize the heart of the one conveying so that You may directly guide this time and that this hour may be a time of giving and taking with the Father. I sincerely pray that You will, please, allow us to be sanctified offerings. Please allow the spirit of the Trinity to take dominion and guide us so that the forces of darkness will never invade us. I pray all these things in the name of the Lord. Amen.
