Those who are truly filial in their fam-
ilies are on the direct road to becoming
the loyal subjects of their nation. Those
who are truly loyal to their nation are
on the direct road to becoming saints.
Please understand this. Therefore, deter-
mining to absolutely love your parents is
the pathway of becoming filial children
in your family. Determining to absolute-
ly love the sovereign and all the citizens
of your country is the pathway of loyal
subjects. Determining to absolutely love
the world is the pathway of saints.
Even the king of a country must fol-
low the saint and absolutely believe him.
Patriots and loyal subjects must follow
their king, and filial children must fol-
low the patriots. There is only one way.
Then who must the saints follow? They
must follow God. God has eternal,
unchanging and unique love. The saint,
the king, the loyal subject and the fil-
ial child must all go the same course of
eternal and unchanging love. Whatever
detours you may take, you will always
have to get back on the right track in
order to stay on course.
The individual, family, tribe and
nation are all to go this way. But there will
be obligations to your parents as well as
to your nation. If you are torn between
these obligations and are unable to ful-
fill both of them simultaneously, where
should your priorities lie? Between fil-
ial piety and loyalty to your nation, you
should give preference to the latter. This
conforms to the rule of law. The reason
for this is that the nation encompasses
the families and parents. (99-67, 1978.7.23)
Jonah 1
12 Jonah told them, “Throw me into the sea, and it will calm down. I’m the cause of this terrible storm.”

Father is calling all leaders Father wants to see all American leadership at a meeting. After the Coronation, what to do? Father really wants to see all those leaders.
..East Coast, West Coast, middle, all, Father wants a special meeting in America, Father wants to see them. So one day, F. meets all those people, so all those ideas will be set up. …And then this is a new start, F. wants to see directly the American leaders at a special meeting. Some of them are great leaders, they want to support Father. Father really brings them to Korea. Most of them who participated in the Coronation, leaders, and then Church Denomination Leaders, at that time around 40.
- wants to invite those leaders, all those people. So, Father asked Mr. J to organize high level leaders who came to the Coronation on March 26th, even Father will directly meet and encourage them. Father will leave and then those people will give a really good farewell and then White House, …secretary all those people have to come and then really make farewell and then they also inherit the relation, they give a farewell send off, that’s a good thing. That’s why we should start the relationship with North Korea. …There is no one, even the American government, who can do this… , no one can solve this one.
