Hebrews 11:1-32

If we wish to give our fealty to Heaven, we should, first of all, be able to bow our heads before the mind within us that wishes to do so. That mind did not originate with us. It did not come about of its own accord. It came about through some kind of truth, through some kind of reason, and through the relationships established in heaven and on earth. We must consider this valuable and precious, what we have decided in our minds, what we have pledged. We should not allow that determination, that pledge and shock of heart to end on the same day. We must bring them to a conclusion with history, and we must resolve them in concert with history. The grace of Heaven is present here. Because we have such relationships, the determination we made should not disappear along with history, nor should the pledge we made.

Only when a person emerges who feels responsible for a mission like this can Heaven be relieved and give commands. This is how I see it. We say that we are deeply imbued with sorrow, but how great would the sorrow of Heaven be, when relating with a wicked person, who has a mind that forsakes the heavenly relationship several times a day? You should realize that Heaven is weighing such a person, putting him on the scales. This is a relationship we cannot help having; this is a relationship from which we can never escape. It is a relationship we cannot free ourselves from, whether we go to the heavenly kingdom or to hell. That is why we feel pain when we go to hell. Richard:  The home (husband, wife and children centered on God) is the center of the providence, not the church building.

Lamentations 2

The Path of Life We Must Go, Entertaining Hope

Romans 8: 18-21

This world we live in is one in which sorrow and happiness are jumbled together. We know that all the happiness we enjoy will disappear with death and cannot remain beyond death.

If sorrow and happiness disappear with death, then would the mind of a person which seeks happiness, which wishes to have better things and longs for the eternal world, come to an end along with death? No, it would not. That our minds and hearts move in such a direction is proof that such a world really exists.

Because a person is a spiritual being, his life is eternal. The reason people rendered devoted service to Heaven, walked the path of death for the sake of Heaven, and even went the path that many others rejected, keeping hope in their bosom, was because they felt something other people could not feel. 1 Now we see how God does make us acceptable to him. The Law and the Prophets[b] tell how we become acceptable, and it isn’t by obeying the Law of Moses. 22 God treats everyone alike. He accepts people only because they have faith in Jesus Christ. 23 All of us have sinned and fallen short of God’s glory. 

Job 19

26 My flesh may be destroyed,
yet from this body
    I will see God.[b]
27 Yes, I will see him for myself,
    and I long for that moment.

The Heart of Heaven in Relation to Elijah

1 Kings 19: 1-21

If we view the phenomena taking place in this world today, they are equivalent to what took place in the period of Ahab, King of Israel in the old days. What is idolatry? It is to abandon Heaven and worship something else; to hold it in equal or higher reverence than we hold God. We must know that numerous people today are worshipping the idol called “civilization” without being aware of it.

At a time like this, if there is one who has the same heart as Elijah as he watched King Ahab, that is, one who feels the sorrowful heart of Heaven on top of his own, and if there is a throng of people who pray, “Please set us up as Your beloved sons and daughters who can bring this land to Your bosom,” comforting Heaven with the heart of Elijah, they would have to look at this age with more indignation than Elijah had. If such a set of people does not exist, we ourselves must become them. We must become the people who build an altar without others’ knowledge and shed tears all unknown, knowing that even if we are of humble birth, our ancestors established the teachings of the heavenly principles by upholding the will of Heaven. We must understand that the work of God, who tries to unfold the dispensation by setting up the providential tradition, is yet to be completed. We must not think we are inadequate, even though we are. Unless such a set of people comes forth and fights upon this earth, the eschatological phenomena of this world cannot be stopped.

Though King Ahab betrayed Heaven and mistreated the Israelites, that happened on a national level. Today, people idolize material things as slaves of civilization, and do not know the location of their center of life. They do not know the direction and location to walk toward, and they make frantic efforts without seeking Heaven. This is similar to the people enslaved by King Ahab in ancient times. Romans 4

9 Are these blessings meant for circumcised people or for those who are not circumcised? Well, the Scriptures say that God accepted Abraham because Abraham had faith in him. 10 But when did this happen? Was it before or after Abraham was circumcised? Of course, it was before.

11 Abraham let himself be circumcised to show that he had been accepted because of his faith even before he was circumcised. This makes Abraham the father of all who are acceptable to God because of their faith, even though they are not circumcised. 12 This also makes Abraham the father of everyone who is circumcised and has faith in God, as Abraham did before he was circumcised.

A good reputation

The title I will speak on today is “History of the Providence of Restoration through Indemnity.” People in general, people in the secular world will not know what this is about.

Today, we refer to God’s providence as the providence of salvation. It is easy to talk about how He conducts His providence of salvation, but until now no one knew this content. Only God knew it.

So why was it that only God knew? When human beings fell, they fell without knowing. They fell without knowledge and in ignorance. For this reason, God has been conducting His spiritual work throughout human history so that human beings could escape from the realm of ignorance. A person who is in ignorance, who is in the environment of ignorance cannot just leave by claiming to know everything. There is the fallen world with problems a person cannot just solve and leave.

Because human beings fell, they live with the results of the fall.

In the providence of salvation, God exists and He conducts His providence to save humanity from the world of ignorance, the world of the fall. And the realm that has fallen into the results that are opposite to the path that God goes, the realm centered on Satan that is opposite to God, always obstructs. So we cannot go this way without resolving all the things that obstruct us. This was where indemnity was absolutely necessary in the course of history. When a person commits a crime and goes to prison, he must pay for his crime or set some other condition to be released. Then he needs to go through a process of defense before this can be officially acknowledged. Only then can he be released. So the term indemnity refers to the absolute need to correct things that have gone wrong in the course of history. Continue reading “How God has Worked to Save Humankind”

Richard:  The Jews were supposed to marry only with other Jews, not to foreign wives.  God was angry about this.  That is why they had to divorce their foreign wives.  Those who have received God’s lineage in the Completed Testament Age should also not dishonor God by marrying outside God’s lineage.

To the Mobile Fundraising Team Workshop

I have gone through prison life and persecution and am still grateful to God. Win victory for the world. You as my spiritual children should be ready to tread same way. In later days people will find more opposition because Father is a yellow man. This can motivate us to tear down racial discrimination at an earlier date. People will find persecution wrong. Men will be tearfully united into oneness to oppose evil. I welcome opposition wherever it comes from. By difficulties you can experience just a bit of what Father has gone through. Do you want to feel more challenged? I am Korean. You are American. I am confident to save the world. You must do so much more. Can you say you are frustrated? No!  History will be our judge.  Our way of thinking is different. You must be stingy to use money for yourself. Save money for the sake of the world. Misusing money earned is like drinking poison. Money we earn is for the public not you. If you raise money for an individual purpose it just ends there. If you save one penny for mankind you can save mankind.
