The Continuing World Wars Are Satan’s Struggle to Maintain Sovereignty

    Through the true love of the Cosmic Parent and the Parents of heaven and earth, we were able to attain oneness of mind, body and mindset, and based on the True Parents who are the object partners of Your love, the true love from True Parents, True Children and true lineage, I was able to complete the settlement of the true perfected family. Through the Fall Adam and Eve had failed and as false parents defiled the lineage, but the True Parents had overcome all this and completely cleansed it. In the place of blessing to liberate Adam’s family, You, through the Parents of heaven and earth, blessed hundreds of billions of people in both the spiritual and physical worlds with one heart, body and mindset in order to purify the defiled lineage.
     In the position of sons and daughters that attained oneness in the bosom of the Cosmic Parent and the Parents of heaven and earth, those in the spirit world, beginning from the liberated hell and paradise and from all directions, are able to go directly to Your throne. I am very grateful for Your allowing me to hold the Coronation of the King of the Blessed Families of the Peace and Unity of the Cosmic True Parent and the True Parents of Heaven and Earth that will enable You and the True Parents to attain oneness of mind and body in the position of the original substantial form, and cross over the line to start for the ideal heavenly world of the family, so that they can exist in the position of all-transcendence, all-immanence, supreme authority and omnipotence.
    I pray that from today the powers of evil will retreat and the powers of goodness will advance and, by assuming overall command and leadership, strive to establish the new heavenly civilization, so that the glory and grace of heaven will fill the entire cosmos and all Blessed Families worldwide will inherit the sovereignty of the love and liberation of the physical and spirit worlds, and thereby become worthy to be the registered Blessed Families of the Nation of Cosmic Peace and Unity.
   On this day and in this place where the Cosmic Parent and the Parents of Heaven and Earth have attained oneness of mind and body, I declare and direct that everyone will strive to achieve the age of sovereignty of the one ideal, of the unified world of Cheon Il Guk based on the liberation of heaven. If you want to become a partner in true love, you must stand in the zero position. When that happens, God says, “Yes, yes!” and when He looks at the earthly world, He shines as the sun shines on the earth. The instant two people explode in love, even God in the spirit world will be surprised at what He sees. God will say, “Oh! Yes!” That phenomenon of love is the signal flare. On seeing that flare, God will visit the place where that couple are emptying themselves in a zero position, blazing with the fire of love that shines like the sun. The Period of Preparation for the Second Coming of Christ

    Religious, political and industrial revolutions occurred following the Renaissance.
These revolutions have gone through three stages. See slide 14 below.
    The society fulfilling the ideal of creation will be a society of co-existence, co-prosperity and common righteousness. Distribution of goods will be fair and just. The political community will overcome egotistical selfishness. Absolute sexual ethics will be taught.
    The World Wars had both internal and external causes. The internal cause was and is due to God’s providence. Satan has been making his last struggle to preserve his sovereignty. We can see this struggle continuing today. There is political confrontation between God’s side and Satan’s side, economic confrontation centered on claiming territories. There is an ideological battle between God’s side and Satan’s side that is continuing right now.

Richard: We all need to be active in this struggle for goodness and God’s side. The fundamental essence of this struggle is the teaching and implementation of absolute sexual ethics, meaning no sex outside of marriage and abstinent preparation for marriage.

God Has Revealed His Heavenly Secrets

    You are each walking the path of restoration as an individual, but you are not walking it individually. You are always walking that path on behalf of True Parents. Otherwise, you will not be able to prepare True Parents’ victorious foundation at the tribal, ethnic, or national levels. For you to proceed correctly on behalf of True Parents, if True Parents are going out to establish the worldwide spiritual standard of victory, you should go out to establish the national standard of victory. You should know this clearly. Now that True Parents’ standard of victory is established spiritually, it must be established on earth. You are going beyond the level of one people, carrying out True Parents’ responsibility on their behalf. To explain this from another viewpoint, you are going over the national level towards the worldwide level, to spiritually establish the cosmic standard of victory. The Lord, who is coming as the True Parents for us, has to spiritually pioneer the cross we must bear, achieve substantial victory and take responsibility for everything. This is the difficult aspect of restoring parents.
    Looking at heaven, earth, and humankind, has Heaven ever been able to attend the victorious True Parents? Heaven could not yet do so. Has the earth been able to attend them? It has not yet been able to do so. Has humankind been able to attend them? They have not been able to, but they are now on the way to doing so.

By fulfilling the duty of a holy person, and going forward so that I can govern all religions on earth in the place of God, I am to bless the world centering on families. You should know that I will not bless families and nations separately. Since I am in such a position, I can bring to fulfillment the Four Great Realms of Heart and the Three Great Kingships. Everyone can achieve kingship by standing in the position where they can fulfill the purpose of the blessing, allowing them to move freely in any direction – east, west, north, and south, and to the twelve pearly gates; everywhere within a 360 degree range. Now the Four Great Realms of Heart must be dealt with. If you do not go beyond the realm of the heart of a holy man, the realm of the heart of a saint, the realm of the heart of a loyal citizen, and the realm of the heart of a filial child in the Four Great Realms of Heart, you can not say that you have crossed over the boundary of the Four Great Realms of Heart. This is the meaning of the third verse of the Family Pledge. (280-35, 1996.10.13)

The Kingdom of Heaven on Earth is a world similar to a single completed human being.  Conversely, we can understand the overall contents of human history by observing the life practices of a single fallen person, where the two minds, the good and evil mends are always fighting.
Satan took the lead to establish an unprincipled world before God could establish His ideal.  The unprincipled world that Satan established is similar in form to the principled world God intended to establish. 
The new expression of truth is the Unification Principle revealed by the Second Coming of Christ, the True Parent. Where do the paths toward Heaven and hell divide? It is determined by each one of us. Those who feel guilt in their conscience as they live in an environment which stimulates their five physical senses are living in hell. Those who live a life of joy in their hearts and live by the direction of their minds are living in Heaven. For this reason people should abandon material desires and the evil mind, pursue the heavenly principles and live by their conscience. You understand this very well.

The beginning of history was not a day of joy. It was a day of sorrow. The time will come when history will end in sorrow because it began in sorrow. It will end in pain because it began in pain. It will end in despair because it began in despair. You can expect to harvest what you have sown. Our ancestors betrayed the heart of Heaven. We have mourned infinitely because we have violated the laws of conscience and the heavenly heart and have fallen. Since this is how it has been, this world does not have what would bring people joy in their hearts.

For this reason you must strike all of these to lead a religious life. You have to understand clearly that this conflict is taking place within you. Any act will be judged to be either good or evil. In our lives today we evaluate our every gesture, what we see, hear, smell and so forth, whether they were for the sake of goodness or evil. People who lead lives of devotion cannot judge these clearly unless they have a firm grasp of this concept and a clear standard of good and evil.

This world is engaged in such a conflict. Although evil rises and strikes goodness first, it cannot persist for long. Evil will not persist. Goodness will prevail. In the long course of history, this will gradually expand from the individual to families, a people, a nation, the world and the universe. Now we are entering the era of a world ideology. Even when the era of a world ideology comes, individuals are still individuals. However, the trends of thought have been expanding their scope.

Although people who have lived by their consciences in the past are the same as those who live by their consciences today, the scope of their relationship has broadened. In the past people were content to live for their own individual sake. This does not have to be the case. It is also not the case that people have to live for the sake of families, societies, nations, or the world. People should live for the sake of Heaven and earth.

Even though the shape and scope of the flow of history have widened, the standard of the mind remains unchanged. Because heavenly principles govern everything in history, when people abide by this standard of the mind and are in line with the direction of the heavenly principles, they will not lose the purpose and direction their minds must pursue. This is the reason it is said, “Live a conscientious life. If you live by your conscience, you will be blessed.” When we realize that the day of judgment blocks the path before us, we won’t be able to receive the blessings. Even though it may seem that you are receiving blessings at the moment, you will be struck when the time comes, so you cannot consider it a blessing. Blessings are not to be received on earth. Blessings will be given when the one day comes. Because blessings will be given to those who stand fast until that time, it is said that you will be blessed if you live by your conscience. This is how we should see it.

and South Korea? We are calling for the
reunification of North and South Korea.
We are calling for the creation of a uni-
fied government between North and
South Korea. Considering this, one needs
the ability to absorb these four power-
ful nations if one is to bring about the
reunification of North and South Korea.
So far, I have been doing such work in
America and Japan, as well as Commu-
nist China and the Soviet Union. We
are now entering the age where they can
become one by my lifting the weight that

At your age you are full of hope for your success. On the other hand you are serious about a career and meditating about your future. The success or failure of your whole life is determined while you are in your teens, more specifically, between the ages of 18-27. Between the ages of 18-24 it is crucially important for young people to decide where they will go in life. That age period is the most important in a person’s whole life. In that age most people graduate from college. Even if misled by parents in what to specialize in university one must shift right away in the right direction.

 Those in the Unification movement are serious thinkers. They think about what is life, what is their country’s mission, and is physical life on earth final or does it extend to life in spiritual world? One may have to wonder if religion is necessary for men. Those who believe in an eternal life in spiritual world have more zeal in physical life. A clear concept of spirit makes for a stronger life on earth.

In general people think and live by animal instinct. I have gone through agony and much prayer to solve problems of life from this point of view. I ask if there is a God at all how evil lives flourish while good people are trodden upon.  Some say there is no God. But deeply look at the wonder of life. One cannot deny God. Think about nature, God and man and how God leads man with humanity. One must live a religious life which includes denial asceticism.  Why?   Because evil and righteousness are going in opposing directions. How much difference? In religious life one must turn about to go the other way so one has to go 360 degrees different from the way one used to travel.  Starting from the individual base one needs to make a full circle the other way. This is done from the individual to the nation and world levels. Evil and righteous sides make circles for each. You learn two kinds of circular motion – righteous side and evil side. ly speaking, peninsulas are situated
between these two, in a midway posi-
tion connecting the continents with the
sea. Since early times, peninsulas have
always been significant in the formation
of civilizations. Greece and Rome, where
ancient civilizations flourished, were
also located on peninsulas. The civiliza-
tions of Spain and Portugal developed
on the Iberian Peninsula. However,
today these civilizations must expand
to the world and bring forth a new civi-
lization in the east and west. The Kore-
an peninsula in Asia is the place for this

How did the universe begin? From
God’s viewpoint, everything began from
the principle of living for the sake of oth-
ers, and fully investing, even consum-
ing, Himself. Then what was He seek-
ing to achieve by consuming Himself in
order to create His object? What results
from both subject and object partners
consuming themselves, each for the sake
of the other, is love. They do not mind
how much they consume themselves,
if they can possess love. Love is based
on such a concept, and that is why God
began His work of creation according-
ly. He did not end up losing anything.
Why would God have completely invest-
ed Himself if He knew it would result in
loss? Within love, there is an energy that
can more than fill everything; therefore,
although God consumed and invest-
ed Himself, He received love in return.
True love is something that does not
diminish with investment, but instead
accumulates through it. If this was not
the case, and the principle maintained
that true love diminishes, God Himself
would have been consumed by investing
Himself. It was in fact quite the opposite,
for the reality is that the more true love
you put in, the more it increases. (237-124,

Historically, as evil grew strong, the good became weak. When evil was too strong for the good to guide it, history went on with evil conquering the good. Amid this, however, a small goodness sprouted forth, formed a greater goodness, and proceeded toward the purpose of goodness. You should know, then, that the historical course thus far has moved through the process by which goodness rises. Thus, history flows from the individual through the family, and with a social character. Through the form of the collective clan, the tribe, and the nation and country, it comes to the stage of the world. Furthermore, history will not stop at the visible world. It will extend toward the spirit world of the universe.

Human history has been going through the ages of goodness centered on the individual, the clan, the tribe, the nation, the country and the world. In this way, a small goodness in history has been developing into greater goodness. Thus, the individual battle turned into a family battle, the family battle turned into a clan battle, the clan battle turned into a social battle, the social battle turned into a national battle, the national battle turned into a worldwide battle. If the spirit world exists, there will be a battle between the spirit world and the earth. If God exists, only when the war between God and the countless evil spirits of the earth is over will the age of peace come to this universe. You should realize God’s situation, who is working through such a process of the Principle.
