    What is the Blessing? It is the securing of families. Centering on my family, the 3, 36, 72, and 124 Couples were blessed, and through these Blessings, the global indemnity condition could be fulfilled. Then the issue of the 430 Couples arises. Although the 124 Couples were established to represent the global standard of the Blessing, there are still many Koreans who do not believe in religion and so do not lead religious lives. Isn’t that so? God’s providence must take account of all existing religions, and indemnity conditions are necessary for their sakes. But what would happen to nonbelievers? They cannot just be cut off completely and cast away.
    Ultimately, the many races and clans must be equally engrafted to the realm of mainstream thought through religions. Although the way leading to the world has been paved and the gates through which religious people can pass have been opened, ordinary people had been excluded; they could not be admitted. Thus, the many ordinary tribes in Korea must be engrafted. That was the reason behind the establishment of the 430 Couples: they represent the 4,300 years of Korean history. (110-123, 1980.11.10)

Richard:  For me, this means that even if people do not understand the truth and receive salvation the way you would like them to, none the less, you still need to make effort to help them.  All of God’s people have this ministry and mission.

I Can Educate and Discipline You to Save the World

Richard:  The Jews were supposed to marry only with other Jews, not to foreign wives.  God was angry about this.  That is why they had to divorce their foreign wives.  Those who have received God’s lineage in the Completed Testament Age should also not dishonor God by marrying outside God’s lineage.

I have gone through prison life and persecution and am still grateful to God. Win victory for the world. You as my spiritual children should be ready to tread same way. In later days people will find more opposition because Father is a yellow man. This can motivate us to tear down racial discrimination at an earlier date. People will find persecution wrong. Men will be tearfully united into oneness to oppose evil. I welcome opposition wherever it comes from. By difficulties you can experience just a bit of what Father has gone through. Do you want to feel more challenged? I am Korean. You are American. I am confident to save the world. You must do so much more. Can you say you are frustrated? No!  History will be our judge.  Our way of thinking is different. You must be stingy to use money for yourself. Save money for the sake of the world. Misusing money earned is like drinking poison. Money we earn is for the public not you. If you raise money for an individual purpose it just ends there. If you save one penny for mankind you can save mankind. Richard:  The role of grandparents in raising grandchildren is very important.

We are now having follow-up training for the Soviet students in seven different locations throughout the country. Over 2000 people have been attending these workshops. You applaud but your applause has no power because though one side is happy because Father has so much success, one side is ashamed thinking about the Church in the United States.

You have not been listening to Father too well and never really believed Father’s message, but what about today? Can you believe the things that Father is announcing to you? (Yes!) Those who say, “Though I may have doubted in the past, I repent and from this time forward pledge to believe you with no doubt whatsoever,” raise your hands! Now that I see you believe me, I have more power and fun to speak to you.

Belvedere seems to be a magic place. Everybody comes here and gets so energized and yells “Yes, yes!” to all I say. As soon as you get out of the Belvedere door, you begin to worry about your groceries, your trip to the drug store, and other things. By lunchtime, you have a thousand things to worry about. You wonder if you really saw Father and don’t remember what you heard. You become your old self. In the meantime, one year is passing, ten years are passing, and your life is passing away.

Is there any school that will allow you to stay for ten years or more just because you are a slow learner? There is no room to keep you there for so long, so they will kick you out. Do you understand? Your life and your fruit is not Father’s responsibility, it is not the Unification Church’s responsibility. You yourself are responsible for your eternal life and your heaven. In the Bible, Jesus was passing through Jerusalem and saw a fig tree growing by the side of the road. He was in a hurry and crossed to the tree wanting to pick some fruit, but there was none. Jesus accused that tree and immediately it died. So don’t die. You not only have your life, but you have to bear fruit. Ten years, twenty years of membership does not automatically bring you fruit.
