Realize the Hope of Jesus

Luke 27

27 This is what I say to all who will listen to me:

Love your enemies, and be good to everyone who hates you. 28 Ask God to bless anyone who curses you, and pray for everyone who is cruel to you. 29 If someone slaps you on one cheek, don’t stop that person from slapping you on the other cheek. If someone wants to take your coat, don’t try to keep back your shirt. 30 Give to everyone who asks and don’t ask people to return what they have taken from you. 31 Treat others just as you want to be treated.

1 Samuel 7

The Israelites were afraid when they heard that the Philistines were coming. 8 “Don’t stop praying!” they told Samuel. “Ask the Lord our God to rescue us.”

Let Us Open Our Eyes Once More and Behold the Sky

Matthew 26: 36-46

Prayer

We must lift our gaze and look to Heaven. Although our eyes have become extremely dim, we must constantly look for something to appear. We must look at everything in history since the time of Adam.

These things have made it impossible for us to find the center of life and the standard of our thoughts. Please allow us to have the heart with which to overcome them and look to Heaven, the heart which can transcend human love and be embraced by Heaven’s love. Please let us recognize that we are struggling in bitter grudges held against the earth, Heaven and all things, and let us set out in search of our second selves, craving our second selves. Please allow us to have an anxious heart, which makes it unbearable for us to leave the matter unresolved.

We are the ones who must govern and protect the original garden which we lost. We are the ones who must make bonds of love with all things and offer them together to the Father. Jesus Has Bee Looking for the One True Person

1 Samuel 13

19 The Philistines would not allow any Israelites to learn how to make iron tools. “If we allowed that,” they said, “those worthless Israelites would make swords and spears.”

Richard:  The Phillistines tried to keep Israel from bearing arms.  It is a fundamental human right that God’s people be able to protect themselves.

Isaiah 19

19 This is a message about Egypt:

The Lord comes to Egypt,
    riding swiftly on a cloud.
The people are weak from fear.
Their idols tremble
    as he approaches and says,
2 “I will punish Egypt
    with civil war—
neighbors, cities, and kingdoms
    will fight each other.

3 “Egypt will be discouraged
    when I confuse their plans.
They will try to get advice
    from their idols,
from the spirits of the dead,
    and from fortunetellers.
4 I will put the Egyptians
under the power of a cruel,
    heartless king.
I, the Lord All-Powerful,
    have promised this.”

Richard:  After President Trump’s term(s), we may get a bad President.  This could cause a lot of suffering, especially among Christians.

Let Us Seek and Establish the Blessed Land God Wants to Administer

Genesis 1:24-28

God’s heart had gone through a course of turns and twists. Shedding light upon this, Jesus uttered, “God, now I know. I have come to know the final meaning of Your having unfolded the dispensation and what kind of heart You had as You did it.” Jesus then grabbed hold of God and rejoiced, shedding tears, forgetting his dignity and image. You too must be able to rejoice, holding onto Jesus and shedding tears. Only then can the ideology of the internal world be manifested as that of the external ideology. You must understand this.

The very core of faith, what is left after human beings believe in the Lord with uplifted hands, put the Word into practice with love and restore the incarnated body with faith, is for their minds to become united with the minds of God and Jesus. Beyond that, the love of God, Jesus and human beings must become united. This is the last, emotional problem to be solved for religious people. For that reason, Christianity, the religion of love, will survive to the end. People in the heavenly kingdom are people who strive for the sake of giving. They are people who strive to give their bodies and minds and all of their things. Most people of this fallen world, on the other hand, strive to live centered on themselves. Only when they can bring about a revolution in their minds can people like these become God’s sons and daughters who can receive the love of God, the Creator of humankind and all creation, who tries to embrace them in His bosom. Be Loyal to God and Serve the True Parent

Humankind is faced with the plight
of being children of filial impiety. People
are the chief culprits who brought about
unhappiness. Having been unspeak-
ably impious toward God, such chil-
dren must occupy the position that will
enable them to become filial sons and
daughters, and recover their dignity
before Heaven.
Unification Church members are
proud of themselves, saying that they
have pledged to become filial sons and
daughters of Heaven. However, we need
to dispassionately undertake a criti-
cal reappraisal of ourselves. We have to
ask ourselves how much our hands have
become the hands of a filial child that
Heaven longs for, and how much our
faces have become the faces of filial chil-
dren that Heaven can long for.
If we ask ourselves whether or not
we have personally become the cata-
lyst of filial piety, overcoming whatever
adversities we may face, day or night,
and whether or not we have succeeded
in resembling our Father who has toiled
relentlessly in order to allow us to pio-
neer the way of filial piety, we do not
have that confidence. (60-19, 1972.8.1)

Rev. Moon’s Vision for Peace through Soccer and Fishing Tournament

1 Samuel 7

15 Samuel was a leader[d] in Israel all his life. 16 Every year he would go around to the towns of Bethel, Gilgal, and Mizpah where he served as judge for the people. 17 Then he would go back to his home in Ramah and do the same thing there. He also had an altar built for the Lord at Ramah.

Richard:  Starting in the summer of 2019, Stacey and I will travel to relatives and friends and bring teachings on Entrepreneurship and Absolutely Good Sex.

Exodus 12

Moses called the leaders of Israel together and said:

Each family is to pick out a sheep and kill it for Passover. 22 Make a brush from a few small branches of a hyssop plant and dip the brush in the bowl that has the blood of the animal in it. Then brush some of the blood above the door and on the posts at each side of the door of your house. After this, everyone is to stay inside.

Richard:  Pastor Hyung Jin has told us to be prepared internally and externally.  Internally we study Hoon Dok Hae every day and keep the words and commandments of God expressed in the Bible and int he Words of Rev. Sun Myung Moon.  Externally, we should have some food stored and also be able to defend ourselves.

15So the Lord sent a plague on Israel from that morning until the end of the time designated, and seventy thousand of the people from Dan to Beersheba died. 16When the angel stretched out his hand to destroy Jerusalem, the Lord relented concerning the disaster and said to the angel who was afflicting the people, “Enough! 47Later that night, the boat was in the middle of the lake, and he was alone on land. 48He saw the disciples straining at the oars, because the wind was against them. Shortly before dawn he went out to them, walking on the lake. He was about to pass by them, 49but when they saw him walking on the lake, they thought he was a ghost. They cried out, 50because they all saw him and were terrified.
