Members Who Will Live In God’s Family

We have parents, siblings and a family. Every person has a family he can dwell in. Regardless of whether or not that family is good, we all have relatives and families where we can dwell.

You will have to live with your family until the day you die. In your families, the members are leading lives full of both happiness and misfortune. Although you know that your families are the home connected to you eternally, one day you will be severed from that family. Although many people have gathered here, no one here can guarantee that he or she will take their relationships into the eternal world. Although you may have some hopes or wishes centering on this family, those hopes and wishes might be shattered the moment of your death; or they might continue, and you may be connected to another world of hopes and wishes.

Human beings possess original minds. This mind is guiding us to move toward the world of the good purpose human beings should pursue. We cannot deny that this mind has moved with history. Looking at the movement of the mind from this perspective, we can understand that this mind has longed for the appearance of a good person. That person will surely appear in history.

Many people of all persuasions say from the depth of their hearts that these are the Last Days. It is clear that the Last Days are near. Is humanity happy or unhappy in this age? I think that they are more unhappy than happy. The day that the world of misfortune comes to an end is the Last Days.

What do our minds long for? We long for happiness. We long for the ideal world of hope, freedom and equality. We cannot deny that throughout our life course thus far we have longed for that world from the bottoms of our hearts. All that we yearn for with a sincere and true heart and mind must be realized. Otherwise, we cannot believe in God or anything else.

Nothing in the world has been able to make our hearts happy. There has not been even one person who lived in a happy environment. The same is true for our family members, our parents on whom we have been depending until now, and our brothers and sisters. We have to understand that this world has not become an eternal dwelling place of joy. Why has it not become like that? If we were to use a religious concept, it is because of the Fall. How can a world created by the Fall and the kinsmen, families and family members who are products of the Fall unite with the ideals of happiness our hearts seek? The conclusion is obvious.

For this reason we long for the passage of this age. This is an honest feeling. Every man and woman is waiting for the passage of this age. A false society will pass behind us: false parents, false brothers and sisters, false couples and false children will pass away. You have to feel this truth deep inside your hearts during this hour. Parents ignoring their children, parents spending time by themselves, children playing only by themselves, brothers and sisters all keeping to themselves and friends and people only associating within their own circles, all this will be shattered. That’s what is going to happen.

In newspapers and magazines we read stories describing how children kill parents and parents kill children. These trends demonstrate that traditional concepts are fading each day. Why is that? The destination our hearts hope for is a place where we can be happy in harmony with the heavenly principles. Because Heaven is in the process of moving toward this destination and reforming people, after passing through a history of infinite changes, it will arrive at an era of a revolution of the heart. The era of intellectual revolutions will be gone. The era of the revolution of the heart will come. People who dream of joy will experience sorrow, and those who are seeking a peaceful abode will end up in sadness. This conclusion is natural.

Jesus Came to Fulfill the Ideal

Do you have a sovereign nation? We
are people without a nation. Although
we have a country called the Repub-
lic of Korea, the nation we are moving
towards is a different nation. It is God’s
nation. However, you cannot enter this
heavenly nation without receiving cer-
tified citizenship in that nation. Satan
cannot accuse those with certified citi-
zenship, regardless of whether they are
from the East, West, North or South; or
whether in the past, the present or the
future. Without such a citizenship, you
cannot enter the heavenly nation. (148-
288, 1986.10.25)

Throughout all of history, there has
never been such a thing as registration
into the Kingdom of God. In fact, there
was no Kingdom of God in the spir-
it world. There was no family and no
nation there. Once a family passed on
to the spirit world, that family was sep-
arated; if there were ten members in a
family, all ten of them were separated.
However, that will not be the case from
now on. You must understand that, had
it not been for the Fall, the Kingdom of
Heaven would have been a place where
the whole family, the mother and father
and all the others, would have entered
together. If the grandparents, mother
and father, and sons and daughters unit-
ed together centering on true love, and
cherished the true love of God in that
family, even God Himself would show
absolute obedience to them. In a world
motivated by the love for others, where
one is obedient to such a tradition of love
and where people live for the sake of oth-
ers, the base of peace can come into exis-

The Ideal Kingdom of Heaven, Our Hope

What I want to ask you today is: where is the ideology that can re- create people, the ideology which can break down historical adherence to old habits that humankind has not been able to escape, the ideology which can burn like a shock in the human heart? If there is a God, can He introduce this ideology to us without any condition? Have you ever thought about this? If you have not, you are a shameful sinner in the presence of your ancestors, who longed and fought for the ideal garden, the ideal world.

Jesus was pierced with his Shim Jung toward Heaven. He felt deeply about the new ideal world of creation, the world of hope humankind was to find. He acted according to what he felt and said to us, “Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.”

In what kind of surroundings did Jesus act in accordance with the heavenly shock he felt? All people were supposed to agree with each other and welcome Jesus wherever he went, but no one welcomed him. This was true, not only at that time, but even now, numerous people who live and who have lived in history, innumerable spirit persons in the spiritual world, also have not deeply understood the words that Jesus spoke and Jesus’ responsibility. The Lord answered:

They stole from me and hid what they took. Then they lied about it. 12 What they stole was supposed to be destroyed, and now Israel itself must be destroyed. I cannot help you anymore until you do exactly what I have said. That’s why Israel turns and runs from its enemies instead of standing up to them.

13 Tell the people of Israel, “Tomorrow you will meet with the Lord your God, so make yourselves acceptable to worship him. The Lord says that you have taken things that should have been destroyed. You won’t be able to stand up to your enemies until you get rid of those things.

Daniel 5

When Daniel was brought in, the king said:

So you are Daniel, one of the captives my father brought back from Judah! 14 I was told that the gods have given you special powers and that you are intelligent and very wise. 15 Neither my advisors nor the men who talk with the spirits of the dead could read this writing or tell me what it means. 16 But I have been told that you understand everything and that you can solve difficult problems. Now then, if you can read this writing and tell me what it means, you will become the third most powerful man in my kingdom. You will wear royal purple robes and have a gold chain around your neck.

There can be only one conclusion of
all human values. What is at the core of
that conclusion? It is true love. If you
were asked what true love is, you would
not be able to define it. The ideological
view of the Unification Church is to cre-
ate one world based on love. It dictates
clearly and in concrete terms how an
individual, a family, and a tribe should
live. That set of laws is not just some con-
ception of Rev. Moon. It reflects the laws
of heaven. Otherwise, we would not be
able to register in the next world. (147-194,

From the theoretical perspective,
there will no longer be anything to
explain with regard to God’s will. Every-
thing has been completed. The time has
now come for us to turn over a new leaf.
Now that we are carrying on the histo-
ry bequeathed to us from God and True
Parents, the era of registration will soon
arrive. Then you will have to be regis-
tered. Have you all become like God and
True Parents in the position of sons and
daughters of God? It is easy to say, but
not to fulfill. Whether asleep or awake,
you must always keep this in mind. These
thoughts must accompany you wherever
you go, and whatever you do, whether
you are eating or sleeping. In order to
do so, you need to experience residing
in the homeland before passing on to the
next world. (201-234, 1990.4.22)
Through the Fall, everything that
should not exist, everything that is con-
trary to the way of heaven, is overflowing
in this world. It all needs to be eradicat-
ed. It needs to be separated from God’s
world. Words alone are not enough to
achieve this. The world is filled with the
variegated customs and habitual life-
styles of different races, from the vari-
ous historical and cultural backgrounds
which are connected to each other only
through the love, life, and lineage of
Satan. Therefore, it will not be easy to
eliminate all this.
This is the reason why it is written
in the Bible, those who seek to die will
live. This is how the paradoxical logic
is formed. Those who seek to die will
live. In other words, you need to invest
your life into this. Therefore, everything
needs to be bleached and washed, that is,
restored through indemnity. Such a pro-
cess is absolutely necessary. If this is not
carried out, and you are still left with the
habitual tendencies or criminal nature
as remnants of the satanic world, you
cannot form a relationship with God.

When you go to that other world
someday, what will you say to God who
has been guiding the work of redemp-
tion and who took great pains to this day
to find one Adam? From the Genesis up
to the present day, God has been seek-
ing His perfect son Adam. You all know
the Principle. This is the weapon that
can save countless people. Until now,
God could not teach humankind and
consequently had to guide the work of
redemption amid ignorance. On earth,
we work on God’s behalf and are doing
greater things than He. The Principle
provides us with a path to enlighten and
assemble a following of hundreds and
thousands of Adams.

4.1. Registration comes from the
grace of the True Parents
People living in this present age have
inherited the lineage of Satan. For this
reason, they need to repent. It is a dis-
grace, for which they cannot show their
faces before the Great Owner of the uni-
verse. They are shameful children who
cannot call out to God, and instead need
to hide behind rocks lest He sees even
their backsides. They inherited the blood
of the enemy of love. They must crawl on
their stomachs, shed tears with runny
noses, and be able to admit, “I deserve
to be punished,” even at the risk of their
lives. They must find their true selves
and be able to give out a cry of gratitude
from the bottom of their hearts, even if
they face certain death. They are pite-
ous beings who are ignorant of the fact
that they have fallen into a pit of eter-
nal resentment where there is no love.
I came to realize that the fundamental
issues of human life cannot be resolved
without understanding the problems
manifested throughout history, the true
nature of the universe, and the grief
of God. You do not know what trials
I had to go through to find this path,
unknown by anyone. You cannot even
begin to fathom the hardships I went
through in my youth, groping blindly in
the dark in the quest for answers. How-
ever, I was triumphant in the end, built
up an organization that can accomplish
this task, not just in words but in deeds,
and now the worldwide foundation tes-
tifies to it. Now the era has arrived in
which anyone who comes running to
us, holds fast to the banner, and turns
around can enter the Kingdom of God.

The Homeland We Need to Reclaim is Not an Existing Nation

The Lord said to Moses:

Hurry back down! Those people you led out of Egypt are acting like fools. 8 They have already stopped obeying me and have made themselves an idol in the shape of a young bull. They have bowed down to it, offered sacrifices, and said that it is the god who brought them out of Egypt. 9 Moses, I have seen how stubborn these people are, 10 and I’m angry enough to destroy them, so don’t try to stop me. But I will make your descendants into a great nation.

1 Chronicles 21

21 Satan decided to cause trouble for Israel by making David think it was a good idea to find out how many people there were in Israel and Judah. 2 David told Joab and the army commanders, “Count everyone in Israel, from the town of Beersheba in the south all the way north to Dan. Then I will know how many people can serve in my army.”

3 Joab answered, “Your Majesty, even if the Lord made your kingdom a hundred times larger, you would still rule everyone in it. Why do you need to know how many soldiers there are? Don’t you think that would make the whole nation angry?”

4 But David would not change his mind. And so Joab went everywhere in Israel and Judah and counted the people. He returned to Jerusalem 5 and told David that the total number of men who could serve in the army was one million one hundred thousand in Israel and four hundred seventy thousand in Judah. 6 Joab refused to include anyone from the tribes of Levi and Benjamin, because he still disagreed with David’s orders.

Since True Father knows the heart
of God very deeply, just one word from
anyone will restart the flow of tears from
his eyes. The fact that God, who should
rule freely over the whole universe and
govern all the nations, had His ideal
trampled upon, the ideal of His being the
sovereign of all sovereigns and reigning
over all of humanity in the parent-child
relationship with the authority and pow-
er of the king of all ages is a truly mor-
tifying reality. At this time, the day of
glory on which we will rise up, defeat all
the evil powers of this world, and restore
the sovereignty longed for by God is now
right before our eyes. (164-216, 1987.5.16)
You must understand that the day of
hope, on which we can live in an indepen-
dent state centered on God, will be the
most precious time on earth which can-
not be exchanged for anything. Among
those who have passed on to the spirit
world, there is not one person who has
lived in the realm of a nation centered
on God. True Father knows this. Though
I have put the members of the Unifica-
tion Church through many hardships,
do you realize what a prestigious thing
it is to have the original human nature
and to live in dignity as citizens before
the sovereign, in the restored providen-
tial nation?
This is the standard according to
which True Father has lived his whole
life. Though I gave many people trou-
ble, I did so in my fight for the day of
glory, when we can put our whole heart
into dedicating everything in our life of
attendance to God, who is the sovereign
of the nation of which we are the citi-
zens. (164-216, 1987.5.16)
The homeland that we need to reclaim
is not an existing nation on earth with
its own history and traditions. It is com-
pletely different from those other nations
in essence. In order for us to be able to
inherit such a nation that stands on a
completely different level from others,
we need to become citizens with appro-
priate ideological proactivity. That pro-
active ideology should be in accord with
the ideology of the absolute Creator.
For a nation desired by the Absolute
Being to exist, you should yearn for that
nation to be one in which the citizens
would be united together centering on
the nation’s sovereignty. Therefore, the
nation should take form based on such a
standard of citizenship. Because you did
not qualify as the people who can main-
tain such a nation, that nation could not
be established. (49-93, 1971.10.9)
