    In my childhood, I would often look at bird nests. Once I climbed a tree to look into a nest, and the mother bird started pecking at me. She was desperate and willing to die to protect her nest, and not only once. When I brushed her aside, she flew away, and then came back. Seeing this, we cannot deny the powerful instinct of animals to transcend their own lives to protect their offspring. It is similar with human beings. You should be able to invest your life for the sake of love. That is the way of a true person. What kind of people are truly good? They are those who establish love as their root, and try to protect their loved ones even at the cost of their own lives. This is where goodness is initiated and where the rationale for reciprocal goodness is established. This is something that never changes. (186-15, 1989.1.14)

    Even someone like Buddha in a mystic state said, “In heaven and on earth, I alone am the honored one.” People who have cultivated an integrated mind and enter the afterlife to stand as God’s perfect object partner can say that of themselves. I feel that if I hold the world tight, it might melt in my fist. In such a state, miracles happen automatically. Healing is a natural concomitant of religious life. That is why we must cultivate the field of our heart in line with the door of our heart. To pioneer the standard of the direction of our heart, we must discover God, our subject. Yet He is obscure. If we want to connect to that obscure God, we must focus our mind. It is the only way to start to connect to God. If we illuminate our minds from within, we can surely find the direction in ourselves naturally.
    Don’t you all feel that? As you began praying, you were facing east, but when you enter the mystic state, your orientation changes. Such things happen, which is why we say the mind has a door. There are times we find it easy to pray, and times we that we do not. Despite all our absolutions and devotions, it is still difficult to pray. It also varies depending on the location of the room because North, South, East and West exist based on a central point. Further, it varies depending on the direction. Even in the mountains, there are places where you can pray well. Also, there are places where satans gather. Those are the shady spots. Shady and sunny spots are spiritually formed in this way. If you experience this many times, you will understand.
    When receiving intimations, dreams, revelations and visions, we must make efforts to apply them to our lives and not ignore them. We Were Born Because of God

The motive for our birth comes through the Creator. We are made by Him, but for what?

Where is the source of our thoughts? Some people say it is inside our heads, whilst others say it is inside our hearts. If someone claims that we exist because we are thinking, then where are we: in our hearts or in our heads? Then there are further questions. If we exist as resultant beings then the question we should be asking is how we came into existence, that is, what is our origin? This is the question: from where did we begin life? In general, people believe human beings evolved from the animal world, but this is a makeshift theory fabricated from a need fro an explanation. In order to form a logical connection, the theory was invented as an expedience; there is no way of knowing if evolution really took place. Did the basis of our mind begin from the amoeba? What I am asking is: is the amoeba our mental ancestor? Evolutionary theory claims that everything began and developed from the amoeba. (117-68, 1982.2.1)

The world based on the culture of heart is the world of God’s original culture and one that is based on the culture of perfected Adam who has not fallen. There cannot be two cultures but only one. Therefore in the future, the world will be unified and there will be only one language and one set of customs and traditions. Only in such a circumstance can God dwell with individuals and families. internal indemnity conditions and exter-

Members Who Will Live In God’s Family

We have parents, siblings and a family. Every person has a family he can dwell in. Regardless of whether or not that family is good, we all have relatives and families where we can dwell.

You will have to live with your family until the day you die. In your families, the members are leading lives full of both happiness and misfortune. Although you know that your families are the home connected to you eternally, one day you will be severed from that family. Although many people have gathered here, no one here can guarantee that he or she will take their relationships into the eternal world. Although you may have some hopes or wishes centering on this family, those hopes and wishes might be shattered the moment of your death; or they might continue, and you may be connected to another world of hopes and wishes.

Human beings possess original minds. This mind is guiding us to move toward the world of the good purpose human beings should pursue. We cannot deny that this mind has moved with history. Looking at the movement of the mind from this perspective, we can understand that this mind has longed for the appearance of a good person. That person will surely appear in history.

Many people of all persuasions say from the depth of their hearts that these are the Last Days. It is clear that the Last Days are near. Is humanity happy or unhappy in this age? I think that they are more unhappy than happy. The day that the world of misfortune comes to an end is the Last Days.

What do our minds long for? We long for happiness. We long for the ideal world of hope, freedom and equality. We cannot deny that throughout our life course thus far we have longed for that world from the bottoms of our hearts. All that we yearn for with a sincere and true heart and mind must be realized. Otherwise, we cannot believe in God or anything else.

Nothing in the world has been able to make our hearts happy. There has not been even one person who lived in a happy environment. The same is true for our family members, our parents on whom we have been depending until now, and our brothers and sisters. We have to understand that this world has not become an eternal dwelling place of joy. Why has it not become like that? If we were to use a religious concept, it is because of the Fall. How can a world created by the Fall and the kinsmen, families and family members who are products of the Fall unite with the ideals of happiness our hearts seek? The conclusion is obvious.

For this reason we long for the passage of this age. This is an honest feeling. Every man and woman is waiting for the passage of this age. A false society will pass behind us: false parents, false brothers and sisters, false couples and false children will pass away. You have to feel this truth deep inside your hearts during this hour. Parents ignoring their children, parents spending time by themselves, children playing only by themselves, brothers and sisters all keeping to themselves and friends and people only associating within their own circles, all this will be shattered. That’s what is going to happen.

In newspapers and magazines we read stories describing how children kill parents and parents kill children. These trends demonstrate that traditional concepts are fading each day. Why is that? The destination our hearts hope for is a place where we can be happy in harmony with the heavenly principles. Because Heaven is in the process of moving toward this destination and reforming people, after passing through a history of infinite changes, it will arrive at an era of a revolution of the heart. The era of intellectual revolutions will be gone. The era of the revolution of the heart will come. People who dream of joy will experience sorrow, and those who are seeking a peaceful abode will end up in sadness. This conclusion is natural.

Jesus Came to Fulfill the Ideal

Do you have a sovereign nation? We
are people without a nation. Although
we have a country called the Repub-
lic of Korea, the nation we are moving
towards is a different nation. It is God’s
nation. However, you cannot enter this
heavenly nation without receiving cer-
tified citizenship in that nation. Satan
cannot accuse those with certified citi-
zenship, regardless of whether they are
from the East, West, North or South; or
whether in the past, the present or the
future. Without such a citizenship, you
cannot enter the heavenly nation. (148-

Throughout all of history, there has
never been such a thing as registration
into the Kingdom of God. In fact, there
was no Kingdom of God in the spir-
it world. There was no family and no
nation there. Once a family passed on
to the spirit world, that family was sep-
arated; if there were ten members in a
family, all ten of them were separated.
However, that will not be the case from
now on. You must understand that, had
it not been for the Fall, the Kingdom of
Heaven would have been a place where
the whole family, the mother and father
and all the others, would have entered
together. If the grandparents, mother
and father, and sons and daughters unit-
ed together centering on true love, and
cherished the true love of God in that
family, even God Himself would show
absolute obedience to them. In a world
motivated by the love for others, where
one is obedient to such a tradition of love
and where people live for the sake of oth-
ers, the base of peace can come into exis-

The Ideal Kingdom of Heaven, Our Hope

What I want to ask you today is: where is the ideology that can re- create people, the ideology which can break down historical adherence to old habits that humankind has not been able to escape, the ideology which can burn like a shock in the human heart? If there is a God, can He introduce this ideology to us without any condition? Have you ever thought about this? If you have not, you are a shameful sinner in the presence of your ancestors, who longed and fought for the ideal garden, the ideal world.

Jesus was pierced with his Shim Jung toward Heaven. He felt deeply about the new ideal world of creation, the world of hope humankind was to find. He acted according to what he felt and said to us, “Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand.”

In what kind of surroundings did Jesus act in accordance with the heavenly shock he felt? All people were supposed to agree with each other and welcome Jesus wherever he went, but no one welcomed him. This was true, not only at that time, but even now, numerous people who live and who have lived in history, innumerable spirit persons in the spiritual world, also have not deeply understood the words that Jesus spoke and Jesus’ responsibility. The Lord answered:

Stop lying there on the ground! Get up! 11 I said everything in Jericho belonged to me and had to be destroyed. But the Israelites have kept some of the things for themselves. They stole from me and hid what they took. Then they lied about it. 12 What they stole was supposed to be destroyed, and now Israel itself must be destroyed. I cannot help you anymore until you do exactly what I have said. That’s why Israel turns and runs from its enemies instead of standing up to them.

13 Tell the people of Israel, “Tomorrow you will meet with the Lord your God, so make yourselves acceptable to worship him. The Lord says that you have taken things that should have been destroyed. You won’t be able to stand up to your enemies until you get rid of those things.

Daniel 5

When Daniel was brought in, the king said:

So you are Daniel, one of the captives my father brought back from Judah! 14 I was told that the gods have given you special powers and that you are intelligent and very wise. 15 Neither my advisors nor the men who talk with the spirits of the dead could read this writing or tell me what it means. 16 But I have been told that you understand everything and that you can solve difficult problems. Now then, if you can read this writing and tell me what it means, you will become the third most powerful man in my kingdom. You will wear royal purple robes and have a gold chain around your neck.

There can be only one conclusion of
all human values. What is at the core of
that conclusion? It is true love. If you
were asked what true love is, you would
not be able to define it. The ideological
view of the Unification Church is to cre-
ate one world based on love. It dictates
clearly and in concrete terms how an
individual, a family, and a tribe should
live. That set of laws is not just some con-
ception of Rev. Moon. It reflects the laws
of heaven. Otherwise, we would not be
able to register in the next world. (147-194,

From the theoretical perspective,
there will no longer be anything to
explain with regard to God’s will. Every-
thing has been completed. The time has
now come for us to turn over a new leaf.
Now that we are carrying on the histo-
ry bequeathed to us from God and True
Parents, the era of registration will soon
arrive. Then you will have to be regis-
tered. Have you all become like God and
True Parents in the position of sons and
daughters of God? It is easy to say, but
not to fulfill. Whether asleep or awake,
you must always keep this in mind. These
thoughts must accompany you wherever
you go, and whatever you do, whether
you are eating or sleeping. In order to
do so, you need to experience residing
in the homeland before passing on to the
next world. (201-234, 1990.4.22)
Through the Fall, everything that
should not exist, everything that is con-
trary to the way of heaven, is overflowing
in this world. It all needs to be eradicat-
ed. It needs to be separated from God’s
world. Words alone are not enough to
achieve this. The world is filled with the
variegated customs and habitual life-
styles of different races, from the vari-
ous historical and cultural backgrounds
which are connected to each other only
through the love, life, and lineage of
Satan. Therefore, it will not be easy to
eliminate all this.
This is the reason why it is written
in the Bible, those who seek to die will
live. This is how the paradoxical logic
is formed. Those who seek to die will
live. In other words, you need to invest
your life into this. Therefore, everything
needs to be bleached and washed, that is,
restored through indemnity. Such a pro-
cess is absolutely necessary. If this is not
carried out, and you are still left with the
habitual tendencies or criminal nature
as remnants of the satanic world, you
cannot form a relationship with God.
