What kind of people are True Parents? True Parents symbolize the hope of all people. They symbolize the absolute hope before fallen humankind. They are the fruit of history, center of the age, and the starting point for the future where human beings can be connected to this world where they are living today. (35-236, 1970.10.19)

The reason I created a newspaper company was to call together minorities. The countries where Native American peoples live are the countries of Rev. Moon’s cousins. Asia is the elder brother. The younger brother separated from there and came onto the American continent. This has to be indemnified. Unlike the ways of the Anglo-Sax-on people in America, Rev. Moon must restore this through indemnity, without shedding blood. Both the CIA and FBI say, “Rev. Moon, that’s causing us trouble!” No matter how alarming it may be, it is God’s will. Now everyone has to know about the Unification Church. It has become such a matter of common knowledge that those who are ignorant of it would be considered as having no common sense. It is true. People who haven’t heard of the Unification Church would be considered to be good-for-nothings. You will experience this all too well if you go abroad. If they ask you where you are from and you answer, “Korea!” they will automatically ask you, “What is this I hear about the 30,000-Couple wedding?” If you were not present at the ceremony, you should say at the very least, “I saw it on television.” If they ask you, “How was it?” you cannot just say, “It was magnificent!” and stop there. When they ask you, “So it was magnificent, but who was there?” you would have to describe to them every aspect of the ceremony, wouldn’t you? The same is true for me.
    Three days ago, when returning from a banquet held at the Little Angels Per-forming Arts Center, I was informed that over 400 people had not been matched as yet and that they were gathered at some place waiting for me, even though the wedding was scheduled to take place the following day. So I went straight there and matched them until 4:00 a.m., and as I left the hall, it started to rain in tor-rents. “If I were to have 30,000 couples standing to attention as I blessed them in such weather, with torrential rain and flashes of lightning, it would truly be a historic event!” As this thought flashed across my mind, I was rather pleased and encouraged. Distinguished guests participating in today’s event, I am truly happy and grateful to see you at this new assembly.

What I am about to proclaim to you today is part of the course of True Parents’ tour that is to proclaim the ultimate conclusion and fulfillment of all aspects of the providence of restoration during the lifetime of the True Parents. The path taken by the True Parents shall serve as a tradition and historic example; thus, I am proclaiming that all of you should model your life course on this path, become families that pledge to inherit and fulfill the will of God that True Parents have already accomplished, and be true to this pledge.

On April 18, (2011) we celebrated our 52nd year of marriage. On that occasion, I brought to a close the era before the coming of heaven, which was marked by sin and indemnity [atonement], and proclaimed the era after the coming of heaven through which a new heaven and new earth will be realized by returning to true love.

Through this tour, I am leading a lifestyle befitting the era after the coming of heaven. Please engrave this point in your hearts.

All the blessed children in the heavenly and earthly worlds, who are related to the True Parents by blood, should keep this comprehensive and final proclamation in mind. This proclamation is being given in order to fully establish the ideal nation that comes from the incorporeal God and corporeal God, the God of Night and the God of Day, and from the ancestors of Jesus and of the True Parents.

The details of True Parents’ life course have already been disclosed and conveyed to you through my autobiography. I pray that you will all become the representatives and heirs of True Parents before the conclusion of the Cosmic Assemblies for the Settlement of the True Parents of Heaven, Earth and Humankind and for the Proclamation of the Word by God’s Substantial Self. Please take heed of my autobiography, which is a record of my life’s work to enable the True Parents to succeed in their mission during their time on this earth, and build on my achievements. Please also inherit the teachings I have bestowed upon this world. In doing so, I pray that you will surely be triumphant in your course of life.

Now the time has come when you can
develop a vision for the nation. It is an
amazing fact that you can stand in the
front line as a fighter for sake of the inde-
pendence and deliverance of the nation.
Those who do this become representa-
tives of human history and the history of
the universe. When God sees this, how
proud and content He will feel!
It is also an amazing fact that True
Parents have appeared on this earth. We
have severed that which has come from
the false parents. Based on this accom-
plishment, we want to bring everyone
through the gate to the True Parents on
the opposite side. Accordingly, we aim
to turn the path to hell back toward
heaven.
Without passing through the gate of
the True Parents, you cannot enter the
Heavenly Kingdom. However, Chris-
tianity does not have this gate. Only
the Unification Church does. Passing
through this gate will enable you to go
directly to the Kingdom of Heaven. In
return, however, you must completely
clear up your past. You should not even
remember the names of the friends you
have known. Married women should not
be thinking of the man they first loved.
They must reach the point of completely
forgetting him. Those who think about
how they lived in the past cannot enter
the Heavenly Kingdom.
This is why we must put together all
our devoted effort to focus our thoughts
solely on True Parents and God. If some-
thing else is mixed in, you will not be
able to travel in a straight line. You will
not be able to walk the path of love. Just
because you have received the Blessing
on earth does not mean that everything
is finished. You must also pass through
a church-level Blessing, a national-lev-
el Blessing and ultimately a world-level
Blessing. You will need to go through
these three stages. Why? So that you can
effectively reach the point of total self-
denial. Just because you have sons and
daughters does not mean that they are
your possessions. You must reach the
point of total self-denial. These sons and
daughters belong to God and True Par-

Beholding all things of the natural world, nature’s beauty and harmony through the changing sea-sons, we should appreciate their profundity. A bird in flight, a butterfly or bee, the flowing streams and the towering mountains—know that each is God’s creation and a manifestation of God’s inner heart. (5:343, March 3, 1959)

If you ever feel as if you are dying of loneliness, go out into a garden and find a flower. Smell its fragrance and talk with it, “What a beautiful fragrance! Where are you from?” It might respond, “I come from my grandma and grandpa.” This means its ultimate origin was from God. God created this world as a beautiful garden for us; it is a museum of living things, given for our enjoyment. Picasso’s paintings may be beautiful, but he could not create even a patch of grass. The democratic systems of the twen-
tieth century originated in England. As
you all know, Queen Elizabeth I of Eng-
land strengthened her maritime policy,
leading eventually to the occupation of
numerous places in the world, especially
in Asia and Africa. God influenced her
to take such actions. Since England was
an island nation, the English had been
trained many times through the invasion
of the Vikings. The English were always
in a position to be attacked. Therefore,
they trained themselves extensively to
strengthen their oceanic culture more
than any other race. At that time, Spain
and Portugal were much stronger oce-
anic powers. But Queen Elizabeth I built
her navy up to a higher level, strength-
ening it in the years from 1593 to 1603.

nized sphere of Blessed families in the
spiritual and physical worlds, the foun-
dation for the ideal of heaven based on

down and dwell on this foundation. God
is the vertical Parent. True Parents are
the horizontal Parents that can equal-
ize the earth. Therefore, on Chil Pal Jeol,

1 Corinthians 13: 1-13

Now is a time when people want evidence. This is a scientific era, they say. Science is logical. What is logical must connect cause and result systematically. When we can prove and practice logical truth in our daily life, we call that scientific. This is the original human nature. There cannot be happiness apart from our life and concrete reality. There cannot be satisfaction or other such things apart from these. For this reason, God also wants to work through a substantial embodiment.

What kind of time is the Last Days? It is the time that the two-thousand-year history since Jesus, the purpose of which was to fulfill the history and hope of the previous four thousand years of establishing the faith, comes to an end. It is the time of the appearance of the prince of faith, hope and love. People believe that when he appears he will come on the clouds, in the sky, but that is a misunderstanding. It is literally impossible.

I used to have that type of faith. I felt so frustrated and distressed that I banged on the ground and protested against Heaven many times. When I penetrated deep into it, I found that it was not true. When I spoke words of truth, I was most heavily persecuted. I now wear the badge of a heretic. In the past St. Paul was condemned as a heretic. The Messiah who came with the truth was cursed and laughed at as one possessed by Beelzebub. This is the source of historical sorrow. Since history began in sorrow, it has to end in sorrow.

If there are faithful believers, let them esteem the members who lie prostrated upon and pray upon the wooden floors of churches. When your church leaders chase you out, follow the sheep as you shed tears and look behind you. You will find that you have come near a new garden of flowers. Have you ever thought when chilly winds blow that the spring season will come after the passage of time? The Lord, in my opinion, will come looking for those who can bravely greet the coming of the spring season with their minds, even though their bodies may be suffering winter.

Although there are many princes of words who can speak articulately and powerfully before a large crowd, there is no hero of substance. There is no embodiment of faith, hope and love among the church leaders. Where will this church and its members head toward? Where will the believers of the Last Days go? This Mr. Moon in Korea will walk the path, if doing so will bring blessing to the people. I will do this even if I am condemned as a monstrous heretic and a traitor to the people.

We Are Like Prisoners of War

A world opposite to the former world
has now come, like morning follow-
ing the passing night. The time has now
come when spring comes to the Unifi-
cation Church, while the satanic world
heads towards evening and night. There
is no hope left in the satanic world. That is
a dark world of despair, one void of hope.
People thought there was no hope in the
Unification Church, but after the era of
dawn, a new morning has come usher-
ing an age of clearness and brightness.
It becomes Rev. Moon’s kingdom of the
truth. I have a good name. The Chinese
character for Sun ( 鮮 ) is a combination
of the Chinese character for “fish” ( 魚 )
and “lamb” ( 羊 ), which unifies the land
and the ocean. The Chinese character for
Myung ( 明 ) symbolizes the sun, moon
and space in the heavens. The Chinese
character for Moon ( 文 ) when written
quickly looks like, and is related to the
Chinese character “father” ( 父 ). If there
is a word meaning “the father” or “true
father” that can be explained through
the truth, then these words should be
placed in the closest position. I did not
know this myself. I only learned it after
explaining it to you. (261-64, 1994.5.22)

What is happening in America now-
adays? Originally, grandparents, par-
ents and children could not separate.
These three generations should not be
apart. They need to be united in order
to establish the four-position founda-
tion. Otherwise, the foundation for the
ideal cannot be made. You understand
this clearly, don’t you? Thus, God is cre-
ating the horizontal foundation of His
love through human beings. If the True
Parents had not appeared on earth, God
could never have children in the spirit
world. For the first time, the children of
the original nature will be born through
us. Through us, God’s royal family will
come into being. You should be proud
of yourselves on that account. It is up to
us to connect all nations to the original

John 10: 1-18

Human beings are living in a world of suffering. They are fighting fierce battles between mind and body. The world of the body is a substantial world; hence, all one’s experiences in it are concrete. Thus, no matter how strong one’s mind may be, one is captured by the stimulation of this substantial world.

To the grief of the mind, the body is weak. Why is this? This is because the emotions one feels in this physical world, the stimulations to your body coming from all around, are strong. In contrast, the stimulation that the mind feels does not come from one’s surroundings but from one direction. Because the stimulation of the body is stronger than the stimulations of the mind, the latter are cut off and suppressed. We cannot deny that this sad reality overwhelms our minds. When stimulation comes to our minds, it does not come from our surroundings. It does not come from behind or from the sides; it comes from the front.

For this reason, even if you are living in the evil world, you sometimes long for some vague thing, even unconsciously. Those who lead a religious life suddenly feel the urge to pray. All of this is because of the functioning of the mind. If the mind has a door, as we open the door and allow the relationship of Heaven to enter through it, we will feel the stimulations of the mind and pursue that world. We should understand this.

Although evil is omni-directional and attacks us through concrete forms, God comes to us from one direction through the bottom of our mind. Yet we have wronged this God so many times. This is why you are traitors who are not worthy to stand before God. You probably cannot deny this.

Human beings live under Satan’s prison of death, under the reign of Satan. We who should live under the reign of God and become citizens of the Kingdom of Heaven live under the rule of Satan as his captives. We are like prisoners of war. This is the situation we are in.

Still, deep inside our minds there are certain movements which can connect us to the truth, situation and heart of our original homeland. God created human beings so that these movements can explode in our minds and freely influence our bodies and bring all of Heaven and earth to submission.

We are living a life of battle to follow the movement of the mind, which is as faint as a strand of thread, in search of the direction of goodness and to make goodness concrete. Satan attacks us from three directions here. He enters us with good material things, power and position in this world. The religious path is the course of constant fighting to cut off from these things. This is why it is written that we should pray constantly. The moment we pray, we are fighting.

From this perspective Jesus looked upon human beings, who have become prisoners of Satan, and shouldered the responsibility to destroy the realm of Satan. It is my plan to form a special troop in this evil world for the purpose of laying the foundation upon which to dismantle Satan’s world. The Israelites were chosen to serve as the basis upon which God could restore this world. Nevertheless, the people were ignorant of this truth.
