This Time is the Same as When Jesus Was on the Earth

True Parents have the responsibility
to connect the indirect dominion with
the direct dominion. The question is
how to demolish the walls within indi-
viduals, families, tribes, peoples, nations
and the world, which are linked to Satan.
Satan, for his part, thinks about how to
block this continuing work of God. The
two have been dueling this way. Satan
has been persistently opposing God. For
my part, I have been standing between
God and Satan, constantly working to
get rid of the latter. How do we move the
work forward without being exposed to
Satan’s accusation? This is the reason
the course of indemnification has come
about. This is humankind’s portion of
responsibility, which, so far, it has failed
to carry out. The question, then, is how
we can fulfill our responsibility. Satan
knows that this issue is the responsibil-
ity of the Messiah. That is why he has
attacked True Parents by mobilizing all
his forces. I have been doing the work
of destroying Satan’s walls wherever
they are found: in individuals, families,
tribes, peoples, nations, the world and
even the spirit world. The Messiah must
clear the way along all these paths.
This has been the history of our Uni-
fication Church. Toward Satan we have
always upheld the Principle with love.
God has agonized over how fallen par-
ents, who inherited Satan’s lineage,
could be restored to the point where they
attain the status of the True Parents of
humankind. This restoration occurred
for the first time in history at True Par-
ents’ Holy Wedding in 1960. Since Jesus
was unable to reverse the fall of Adam
and Eve, I must do everything on his
behalf. (118-270, 1982.6.13)

Of the 36 Couples, the Adam couples
were already married couples, the Noah
couples were engaged but not married,
and the Jacob couples were virgin men
and women. Noah’s family did not fulfill
the Will. When you look at the people
in the world today you see that there are
already married couples, those who are
in informal relationships or are engaged,
and the completely pure single men and
women. From this time on, the foremost
kind of people that True Parents should
be seeking for are not the Adam couples
but the true sons and daughters, in oth-
er words, pure single men and women.

Matthew 5: 33-48

If history were to end, to what are we going to connect on a worldwide level after that? This is the crucial question which young men and women full of hope, ideals and courage must resolve. What we should hold onto and what we should throw away is an issue upon which humanity, awaiting the judgment of the last days, must decide.

Judging from the situation of that time, Jesus was seen as a traitor to the people. He was seen as a traitor to his church, tribe and tradition. Yet, in truth, he was not a destroyer but a builder; he was not a traitor, but a patriot. He truly loved Heaven. People have come to understand this truth only recently.

Sovereignty Cannot Be Maintained Without a Heavenly Ideology

In fact, throughout my life I have
developed a movement for ‘One World
Under God’ transcending race, ideolo-
gy, and nationality in accordance with
His providence. This is a principle of
providential history and not a theory
that I specially devised. Being enlight-
ened regarding God’s will, in order for
me to not only teach His plan as a the-
ory but also to implement it, there is no
part of the five oceans and six continents
that my activities have not outwardly
reached.

When God invested and invested,
centered on love, His love enveloped the
entire universe and there was still more
left over. Centered on God who is the
motive of love, centered on this core, all
corners of this existing world in the uni-
verse were enveloped in the atmosphere
of love. Thus, there is the atmosphere of
love even if you go to the spirit world.
On earth, we should have led our lives
singing of love centered on the pair sys-
tem; but due to the Fall, this miserable
state came about. We must understand

What kind of age will come after that? An age will come when people make efforts to recover what the original people lost. Because we have the responsibility to rule all things, our original mind is at work to make the world our own. If we have the power to influence a certain sovereignty, it is human nature to want to elevate that sovereignty to the worldwide standard. This desire of the original mind directs us toward a certain place and governs our minds. Since the world is to be filled with God’s sons and daughters, each nation must overcome nationalism based on ideology and thought. Nationalism and national concepts must be finished. This is the kind of fight Heaven has been carrying on even while human beings were unaware.

After governing the earth and recovering brothers and sisters, what must be done? We must love Heaven. Since this is the unavoidable destiny for people, when a new religion emerges, it must love Heaven and surpass the religions of this age.

For the people who are searching for their land, Heaven has mobilized their people in an effort to help them find it and has worked to break down barriers and expand territories. For humanity living in the age of the heavenly dispensation, Heaven has established an ideology and philosophy that can dismantle the walls between peoples. What should emerge next? The ideology and philosophy that teaches people to love Heaven must emerge, the ideology which can dismantle the walls between religions and denominations. God Made Endless Efforts to Build a Relationship With Fallen People

Do you want me to supply you with
money when you are doing you tong

the person who works receiving money
and a monthly salary, or is it the one
who makes the effort to love as he goes

ognition? Answer me! It’s the second

this much, please work hard in your

For what purpose were human beings
born? To seek the path of love. So the
sexual organs men and women have do
not belong to them. The organ dangling
from man’s body is not his. However, he
regarded it as his possession. Woman is
not the owner of her sexual organ; it is the
man’s. The owner of the sexual organ on
man’s body is woman. You must under-
stand this amazing fact that, in this way,
the love organs and their owners were

Originally, human beings were to love Heaven, yet they fell to the lowest possible place, they have been working to recover it all in the opposite way. Originally, they should have received God’s love and formed love relationships with siblings, spouses and parents, but they became fallen people instead. Therefore, even if one proudly insists that he is a true parent, a true spouse and a true brother, no one has forged a true relationship with God.

Because this is the nature of the clan to which we belong, we do not have any basis to claim that anything we govern belongs to God. This world, which was created to be God’s world, does not even belong to human beings. It has become Satan’s. How pitiful! People must emerge who experience the sorrow Heaven feels as He beholds this situation. There must emerge those who experience the sorrow of humanity. Otherwise, there is no way to undertake a movement to liberate this world from Satan’s bondage.

To conduct such a movement, God has worked to strengthen the influence of the conscience in people. Because human beings, whom God should have governed, were lost, He sent central figures in each age. Taking responsibility for all human problems, God sent the central figures who revealed the mission of humanity in the time they lived. These were the prophets and sages of history. Rectify Yourself to Walk the Path of Goodness

You have entered the global age and
although you may be in an individual
position, you are connected to the great-
est saints of the world. If you have the
character of heart and live a saintly life,
you will have the spiritual foundation
through which spirits will freely assist
you when needed. So now, with respect
to the current activities of the Unifica-
tion Church, the patriots of each nation
have returned to their previous coun-
tries on earth and set up homesteads
around the foundation of the Unifica-
tion Church. Until now, the number of
people who died is tens or hundreds of
times greater than the current popula-
tion of the nation, is it not? They have
come and are now waiting for us to
expand our work. This is why all mis-
sionaries should lead national move-
ments and mobilize everyone. If they
give the order to march forward togeth-
er with the spirit world and on behalf of
everyone, these spirits cannot but help.

We should offer sacrifices to God
with a theoretical system and practical
foundation with which we can subjugate
the spirit world. This ceremony of sacri-
fice was today’s morning pledge service
(November 17, 1990, the 31st Children’s
Day). In that place, I prayed that since
the time had come, the current that had
been flowing in reverse through heaven
and earth must now flow in the right
direction. Since God has restored the
birthright of the firstborn, all second
sons to be born in the future and those
existing now are under His rule. Conse-
quently, in the era of the second son after
the restoration of the birthright of the
firstborn, heavenly law cannot condone
the devil’s sphere of activities.

Goodness is never realized by one’s self. It is realized when one transcends one’s self, one’s environment, nation and world and connects with the highest goodness of the Creator. Goodness is possible only through a course of accomplishment.

We must understand that we should find the direction of goodness, understand its destination, and move in that direction. At the same time, we must become goodness itself and leave behind the accomplishments of a good life. It is not an overstatement to say that no one in history has ever understood this truth and led his life responsibly and confidently. God has worked laboriously with human beings. For 6,000 years God has been guiding human beings, who do not know how to repay His work and who are not grateful for His having saved their lives.

If this course of historical sorrow does not end in your generation, it will continue with your descendants. If you cannot feel that this sorrowful course is active in your life, flowing within the life you breathe, there is no way you can truly say that you love your nation and Heaven. We Cannot Repay the Grace of the Father

Then what will you do after having
been liberated? Because you will serve
and attend God instead of the devil, you
will have to create a new cultural realm.
You have to create True Parents’ realm
of daily life. When you stand in the posi-
tion of the perfected Adam, you realize
the purpose of your birth. When this
happens, the love of God and True Par-
ents will continually reside within you.
This love is the basis of the harmony that
completes you. In other words, you will
have love, life and lineage. This forms a

Since they are destined to inherit
God’s Kingdom in heaven and on earth
– the vertical and horizontal kingdoms
– and the lineages of the vertical and
horizontal parents, the sons and daugh-
ters are eligible to inherit every inter-
nal aspect of the vertical Parents and
every external aspect of the horizontal
parents. Being a part of the royal fam-
ily signifies leading the life of having
inherited the two kingdoms. The fact
that you have become the royal fam-
ily would mean that you stand on the
perfected foundation, and you can be
accepted by both kingdoms at all times.

33 You know that our ancestors were told, “Don’t use the Lord’s name to make a promise unless you are going to keep it.” 34 But I tell you not to swear by anything when you make a promise! Heaven is God’s throne, so don’t swear by heaven. 35 The earth is God’s footstool, so don’t swear by the earth. Jerusalem is the city of the great king, so don’t swear by it. 36 Don’t swear by your own head. You cannot make one hair white or black. 37 When you make a promise, say only “Yes” or “No.” Anything else comes from the devil.

38 You know that you have been taught, “An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.” 39 But I tell you not to try to get even with a person who has done something to you. When someone slaps your right cheek,[a]turn and let that person slap your other cheek. 40 If someone sues you for your shirt, give up your coat as well. 41 If a soldier forces you to carry his pack one mile, carry it two miles.[b] 42 When people ask you for something, give it to them. When they want to borrow money, lend it to them.

43 You have heard people say, “Love your neighbors and hate your enemies.” 44 But I tell you to love your enemies and pray for anyone who mistreats you. 45 Then you will be acting like your Father in heaven. He makes the sun rise on both good and bad people. And he sends rain for the ones who do right and for the ones who do wrong. 46 If you love only those people who love you, will God reward you for that? Even tax collectors[c] love their friends. 47 If you greet only your friends, what’s so great about that? Don’t even unbelievers do that? 48 But you must always act like your Father in heaven.

Prayer

Beloved Father! Brief human life, which seeks after You, may appear to be simple; yet, it is complicated. We must walk this life course. Father, we sincerely pray that You guide us to become blessed sons and daughters who can persevere through each day and spend the rest of our lives in the Father’s bosom.

We are not alone in the world in which we live. We know that a myriad satans surround us. They have been engaged in insidious fights and have been putting forth conditions of accusations before the Father for 6,000 years. We know that You are keenly aware of this and have been working laboriously to protect us. Please allow us to realize that the Father’s concern exceeds our concern, and that the Father’s labors in fighting Satan and the victories You have won are much greater than anything we could accomplish, even if we battled hard for the rest of our lives.

The Father has been deeply involved in the lives of our countless forefathers and has been working to fulfill the will of restoration. We know that Your efforts have been the path of the cross, a debt we can never repay by any means.
